THERE IS NO PANCHA BHOOTA, ONLY TRI BHOOTA !!!

Our sages as i can understand from reading our scriptures (our very own dravya guna for that matter) were great observers. First they classified all those seen around us in terms of five senses. That is the significance of the number five. It was through these senses, the njanendriyaas, that they could percieve the external world. Eye could help us to percieve light, Ears could help us to perceive sound, Tongue help us to perceive taste, Skin help us to percieve touch, Nose help us to percieve smell. These are essential for our survival, then as "nomads". We could do well without these in this tech yuga, with aid of medi-tronics ! How does Stephen Hawking survive then ? It is due to the importance of these five senses in survival that they gave five more importance. So worshipping pancha bhootas are not at all a fault as they protected us ! It is one of our primal instincts. The light particle that we perceive through the eye ( the photos buddy......yeah of einsteins and plancks....whoa....im likin dis writin.....its sheer creativity with some intentions to promote my science's philosophy , well thats what i can do know after all the thought process i have invested....but im practising medicine..ayurvedic one ), is called agni bhoota.........first point........AGNI=PHOTON. The sound particle that we perceive through ears are called AAKASHA.........second point AAKASHA=SOUND./ETHER/VACCUM.........waves that travel at 300km/s.......sonic........you getting the idea right. These two particles may be called that which pervades entire universe. The next three ones or senses are that related to internal environs of the living being, in this case human. That is the significance of three. Smell, Touch and Taste. Cause light and sound only relates to external environs and play an indirect role in health.
Light help us to see, to move around without fear. In darkness, we feel fear cause our brain cant process information of the surroundings without light. We dont eat or drink light ! We dont survive on light like oxygen. Light is compared to fire, cause it is the sun that produces light. Sun is energy, thermal energy. So light when taking to internal environ may be enlikened to the sum total of all energy processes, the ATP, ADP, Mitochondria, the digestive process which again is a chemical reaction, so agni becomes again significant as the bio-chemical thing ! It too much of an ask to compare agni to that, as our ancestors have enlikened agni to just digestive-metabolic fire. Sound again helps us to communicate, its the psychological fodder ! The sound of rain, of wind, of river, of peacock, of music, of  a baby, of mother, of friends all evoke different reactions in our brain.Sound created words all the vocabulary, all the textual, all the vedas. So i put, myself, these two bhootas as making deeper impact on our mind realmn than others, as we are in this realmn the very light and sound that is common factor between the living and non living, that all are made off. So it has always deeper impact, a soulful one, beyond materialism.
The next bhoota is , my favourite the prithvi bhoota......third point.......PRITHVI=GOD PARTICLE/MASS PARTICLE. Its is expected ( wtf....?????????) to give smell, fragrance to all things around, the smell of rose, the smell of sand, smell of rock, its an identity anyway.......the smell. Some snakes smell their prey fromm miles (Russels viper !), that is the power of smell. Smell evokes good and bad responses. Smell of rose, of basil all evoke dopamine......naturally ! Smell of fish is naturally disgusting ! The power of smell can be brought about by citing an old fairy tale where a princess was awakened from deep slumber by a powerful scent ! I can logically relate to physics,but in a biological sense i am not able to relate why and how prithvi bhoota is responsible for smell. ''TATRA GANDHAVATHI PRITHVEEE !!!" (entammo namichu charakan aliya ..........serikkum......nee puli thanne !))) :p :p :p
The fourth and fifth are inter related as they point out to two states of matter. AP=LIQUID, VAYU=GAS. Vayu finds more relevance as we need O2 to survive which is gas. Atmosphere is gaseous. Universally too gas is more found ! HELIUM AND HYDROGEN ! When we take water, it is  2 H2 + O2 ==== 2 H20, h2 and o2 are ayurvedically vayu bhootaas, hey.......hu..hu.....fooled the acharyas, then vayu bhoota-x + vayu bhoota-y ============  ap bhoota xy, so i say vayu and ap bhoota are inter related. The solidification is not , and cannot pertained to prithvi cause it is said by them that it is prithvi that gives mass or it is the substance ! That is where I have no doubt on our ancient gurus ! They might have said prithvi as solids, but they perceived more than saw ! They meant prithvi to be mass !!! Yeah they indirectly predicted the existence of god paricles !!!
So Universe according to our philosophy of VEDAS (ayur........VEDA), is made up of, .....in my translated version,
1.PHOTONS
2.SOUND/ETHER/VACCUM
3.MASS PARTICLES
4.AIR AND LIQUID.
You cannot see them individually.
That is vedas propose that, photons, vaccum, higgs boson cannot be separated form one another. These three give rise to air and liquid PARTICLES. First three are sookshma or sub atomic while the last two are molecular. The first three when combine give rise to the last two.
IN OTHER WORDS, AGNI, AAKASHA,PRITHVI are only primary or the tri bhootas. So pancha bhootas are in reality tri bhootaas.
1.AGNI====PITTA
2.AAKASHA=====VATA
3.PRITHVI=====KAPHA so that's energy as agni, aakasha as ether or space or vaccum and higgs boson as matter or mass particle that has in a cosmic sense given rise to the body, this is the basic constituents of the cosmic body so..........
Why then extra two bhootas, they are the atmosphere and water without which life cannot exist.
Universe can exist without vayu and ap bhoota but not life.
Universe is tri bhoota while earrth is pancha bhoota !
SO PANCHA BHOOTA THEORY IS IN REALITY TRI BHOOTA THEORY !!!!
SO YOU WILL NOT DOUBT WHY NOT PANCHA DOSAS ???
IT IS TRI BHOOTA SO TRI DOSA !!!

Dont try to decode Ayurveda !

Lots an lots of efforts have been put into (utter vain) to decode the tridosa theory , to put it in modern terms. This is a futile effort and that i think is impossible. Ayurveda itself says it is impossible to find a single bhoota, all elements are pancha bhautic, or for that matter to put it in scientific words, matter exists itself as a pentad, five seeming to exist as a single entity, with a very clear functional demarcation between these five elements. Structurally they are inseparable ! Wow, man.....this idea presents more ingenuity than the story of our hexagon, the benzene ring ! Thats what makes me, an ardent science thinker to the likes of hawking and planck, i mean the interests clearly overlapp, if not the acheivements, you can very well feel that influence of modern rational thinking throughout my writings. To say the truth i was first influenced by the " Gutenberg ", then only the Gita ! But even though that fact remains, the ever growing curiosity of the hindu "aatman" concept has led me into study all sorts of hindu mythologies and enquire about tantras and all that. Its a vast sea . That I dont know sanskrit is one thing i regret in my life that i stand dumb ! Dumb as an ass ! I lost the battle to it, as i have not learnt in my childhood, as an Indian, more than that, as a hindu i ought to know sanskrit, like a muslim needs to know arabic ! Now I can read it as it is in devanagiri lipi, but still by hearting an ayurvedis sloka activates my symphathetic ganglions........woooofff !!!

Coming to the point.........dont be mislead by those system ayurveda and all that stuff. Let system be system and ayurveda be ayurveda. Ayurveda has a logic and a basic know how language, like COBOL .......know that and diagnose accordingly. So i will further in this blog put forward only ayurvedic philosophies of pancha bhoota and tri dosas and discuss only in that perspective or else i am sure i will spread a false information. For me Astanga Hrudaya is enough !

APTASTHU YATHARTHA VAKTHA.....

I have started this blog to discuss the philosophical contents of ayurveda which is intriguing and yet interesting when you go into the deeper realms, yes without philosophy there is no ayurveda and hence in all sense it is humanitarian. All ayurvedic texts start with a "mangalacharana'', that is praying towards that perfect being called as "apta", it is not a concept but a real person, a guru, who has passed through all ordeals of minds and yet successfully dealt with and knows about the reality of mind and its existence. For that matter, since the vedas and upanishads were written by such aptas, i will say whatever they say are impartial. For a biased mind it may seem to be wrong, it is only because of his incomplete knowledge. In an existential realm, it is the ultimate truth and hence it will survive against all odds.

Apta, means one who says reality. How can a person say what is real and what is not ? Lets discuss that aspect of an aptas personality. For example, if you observe a thing, say, a disease or a person suffering from a disease, a normal person can only view it in an individualistic realm, that is with relation to the person only, so he can only say about what the patient describes about his disease. In modern terms, it is called presenting complaints , history of presenting complaints and all examination included. From that our assessment of the disease is biased with relation only to the structural components involved. But, but what we forget is how a persons (1) age, (2) sex, (3) place ,(4) season etc play a role in disease causing. Only a person like an apta could use his vision or perception to find out the involvement of the persons environs too in causing a disease. An apta not only is a person of good morale, like a sai baba, but also an experienced person in his department. So you will not call a young person an apta ! An apta only can be an aged person with lots an lots of wisdom.

To be free from all passions and anger is itself an acheivement, but after that to have an indepth knowledge in medical science is like equal to god himself. We had such a legacy of apta vaidyas or vaidya kulas . The legacy left by Kottakkals and Astavaidyas is gem to be treasured in the annals of medical history, for they have provided not only health, but also carried and preserved our culture. Ayurveda I say is inculcated in our culture.

Our grandfathers have adviced us to wake up in early morning which is an advice of ayurveda in dinacharya.

We dont mix fish with curd or buttermilk as it is viruddha, we know it as it is, we have not questioned it yet ! It again is ayurveda.

We apply oil to head processed in kayyonni , hibiscus which again is ayurveda.

We drink water with tulsi leaves or other herbs such as nannari (sarbath !), karingali etc which is pure ayurveda.

Oonu kazhichal ettadi nadakkanam, after meals you should walk 8 feet, it again is ayurveda !

So these apta vaakyas are inculcated in our unconscious and subconscious by our grand parents , so they are our aptas, the elderly peoples, especially vruddha vaidyas, so do respect them, instead of searching for aptaas !

Respect your teachers, your elders, Doctors of Ayurveda ! They are your aptas (Relative to you).
